Viruses in fact are those programs which are written for the sole purpose of disturbing the performance of the computer systems in which this program gets a chance of entering. Virus protection is very important. These viruses can be very damaging for the computers which they enter. The viruses may get transferred form one computer to another by getting connected to a local area network or to World Wide Web. The use of USB or any other piece of technology may help in this transfer. Virus protection is important to the proper working of a computer. If we do not provide virus protection to our computers, they may be damaged as a result.

If you want to make your computers dependable for you, you need to provide them virus protection. If they have lots of viruses in them, the viruses are capable of reducing the efficiency.

Protecting our computers from viruses may be very important especially for those companies where some sensitive data are stored. For example, the computers which store the data of census department must be hundred per cent free of viruses.
